The diffUSE Logbook is an experiment in open science by The Diffuse Project. Its purpose is to catalog X-ray datasets, collect notes from synchrotron data collection, share reports from data processing, and post preliminary analysis without filters.
I've given the logbook site a refresh for the new year. To facilitate more frequent sharing of work in progress, I've added a Processing tab with Jupyter notebook integration. We will also advertise and summarize new content (such as beamtime logs) when it is added using blog posts, now available on the main page.
We collected diffraction data from several SARS-CoV-2 NSP3 macrodomain crystals at room temperature, and created diffuse maps for 3 crystals using mdx2. From this preliminary analysis, the diffuse maps appear quite different. Why?
